The course is designed both for existing, newly appointed aor potential Care Managers, within any organisation, who require to improve their knowledge on this topic.
SYNOPSIS
The course will explore and extend participants' knowledge on the principles of Care Management.
AIM
The aim is to recognise difficulties in practice and to enable clients to participate in therapeutic activities
OBJECTIVES
The course objectives are to:
1. Understand the causes and likely stages of Dementia
2. Understand the functional limitations experienced by clients with Dementia
3. Identify key issues for engaging such clients
4. Increase staff confidence and skills in occupying clients in a meaningful way
