Synopsis

This course is designed to clarify varying causes of Diabetes. Delegates will develop their skills and gain a basic knowledge in this topic, whilst exploring self help, care interventions and multidisciplinary guidance.

AIM
To understand the nature of diabetes, the various ways it can affect individuals, and the most appropriate care for people with diabetes.

OBJECTIVES
Having completed the course participants will/should be able to:
1.Discuss the causes of diabetes
2.Understand how diabetes affects the body
3.Recognise the signs and symptoms of poorly controlled diabetes
4. Consider the range and variety of problems experienced by people with diabetes
