This course is designed for Carers, Sufferers or Care Teams who need to gain an understanding of the Arthritis.

Synopsis

This course is designed to clarify varying forms of Arthritis. Delegates will develop their skills and gain a basic knowledge in this topic, whilst exploring self help and care interventions.

Aim
The aim of today's course is to enable Carers, Sufferers or Care Teams to gain an understanding of Arthritis, the effect it has on the individual, treatment(s) and the most appropriate care for the sufferer.

Objectives;
Having completed the course, participants should;
1. Discuss the causes of arthritis
2. Recognise it's signs and symptoms
3. Consider the range and variety of problems experienced by the sufferer
4. Explore various treatments and strategies for care.
