Synopsis
This course offers clear and up-to-date information on the latest legislation and guidelines in child protection. It will be useful for any worker or volunteer who engages with, or may engage with a child.
Aim
The aim is to improve the awareness of all those working with or otherwise coming in to contact with children. The course will include tell-tale signs, roles and responsibilities, and the appropriate way to deal with potential situations, such as suspicion or witnessing an abusive instance, or when a child, or other person reports an instance to you.
