TARGET PARTICIPANT GROUP
The course is designed both for care/support and senior staff, within any organisation, who require to improve their knowledge on this topic.
SYNOPSIS
The course will explore and extend participants' knowledge of the effect both physically and mentally of alcohol on the human body, not least the brain.
AIM
The aim of the course is to enable the client with ARBD through co-operation, Assessment, Planning, and engagement tactics. adherence.
OBJECTIVES
Having completed the course, participants will/should be able to :
1. Identify Risk Assessment with alcohol abusers
2. Identify Laws relating to the topic
3. Be aware of Individual Responsibilities
4. Recognise the holistic approach to enabling a client
5. Employ engaging techniques
6. Be familiar with appropriate use Policies and Procedures
